Cells for soldiers

OCEANSIDE — With plans to provide members of the military with free cell phones, Liberty Tax Service and Round Table Pizza in Oceanside have teamed up and are asking that anyone who got a new phone from Santa to donate their old phone.
The Cell Phones for Soldiers organization is dedicated to enabling soldiers stationed overseas to contact loved ones. Every donated phone can buy a calling card for up to 100 minutes.
Along with helping soldiers call home, this allows users to recycle their used cell phones. Drop your old phone off at any of the three Oceanside Liberty Tax offices at 601 and 4095 Oceanside Blvd. and 3784 Mission Ave. or at the Round Table Pizza at 455 College in the Mission Marketplace. For more information call (760) 722-6677 or visit cellphonesforsoldiers.com.
