Carlsbad Chamber looks for top city businesses

CARLSBAD — The Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce seeks business awards nominees.
The deadline for submissions is Dec. 14.
The chamber is pursuing nominations for its Annual Business Awards Dinner Feb. 26.
The Nascar-themed event will take place at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara, 7100 Four Seasons Point. The chamber is accepting nominations in the following seven categories:
— Businessperson of the Year
— Small Business of the Year (1-15 employees)
— Medium Business of the Year (16-99 employees)
— Large Business of the Year (100 or more employees)
— Lifetime Achievement in Business
— Entrepreneur of the Year
— Community Leadership
This event recognizes the accomplishments of Carlsbad’s business and community leaders whose vision has shaped the city and set the stage for years of continued prosperity.
“Businesses are the driving force of our area’s economy and we want to applaud the individuals and companies that have worked hard to keep our region on track during these difficult times,” said Toni Padron, the chamber’s executive vice president and chief operating officer.
