Carlsbad Chamber hosts Business Expo

CARLSBAD — The Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Business Expo from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 24. In addition, the event features a Mayor and City Council Candidate’s Forum. Candidates will speak from 10 to 11:45 a.m. and mayoral candidates from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort and Spa, 5480 Grand Pacific Drive.
The Expo, now indoors, provides the public with the opportunity to meet face-to-face with the companies that provide products and services in their community. It features new products, new services and some deals.
The Expo will have more than 100 vendors displaying, debuting and selling at least that many products and services from green-conscious windows to custom gift baskets; gourmet chocolates to locally made jams and preserves; sign makers, window cleaners, garden products, and more.
`“It’s really a cornucopia of opportunities to support the local San Diego and North County economies,” said Ted Owen, president of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce. “These are businesses that are here in our back yard. They are out there promoting and developing products and services that help make our city great and our economy one of the more stable in the state.”
