REGION — On Dec. 4, Extraordinary Conceptions headquartered in Carlsbad is opening its corporate doors for a Holiday Open House Party.

While collecting donations for orphaned pets at the Helen Woodward Animal Center, they are inviting the community to stop by with their children and friendly pets to take complimentary professional photos with Santa, be part of free opportunity drawings for gift cards, and enjoy some holiday savories.

Helen Woodward’s orphaned pets are in need of dog and cat toys, as well as pet beds prior to placement in their forever homes.

Executive director of Extraordinary Conceptions, Mario Caballero, was drawn to helping animals this holiday season through a special festive collection drive. His team members are all avid animal lovers.

“I wanted to do this because we can help be the voice for animals in need,” Caballero said. “I have a strong desire to help animals because they depend on us.”

Caballero who lost his beloved dog more than a year ago described her as sassy.  For him, there is an unconditional love that a dog brings to the lives of others.

“You can just feel it,” he said.

Renee Resko, vice president of development at Helen Woodward Animal Center, shared how they are very grateful for their partnership with Extraordinary Conceptions.

“We look forward to celebrating the holidays in conjunction with this wonderful donation box for our cats and dogs,” she said.

Behind the lens taking Santa portraits will be award-winning photographer, Christine Rinaldi.

“Christmas is such a special time of year for kids and the whole family,” she said. “Nothing could be better than being given the opportunity to capture images of parents, excited kids, their loving pets and Santa.”

Rinaldi said her goal for the Holiday Open House event is to create candid images that highlight the excitement, anticipation and fun of each visit with Santa.

Within 10 days of the event, Rinaldi will email two high-resolution images for each family member via email.

With the holidays in full swing, Extraordinary Conceptions will also help sponsor an adoption day during the month of December at the Helen Woodward Animal Center by paying a portion of a new pet owner’s adoption fees.

Extraordinary Conceptions looks forward to greeting all who want to take part in helping orphaned pets and enjoy the holiday festivities Dec. 4 between the hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Extraordinary Conceptions is located at 2701 Loker Ave. West Suite 100 in Carlsbad.
