CARDIFF-BY-THE-SEA — Tastefully brought to you by Cardiff 101 Main Street, it is time for the annual Taste of Cardiff event from 5 to 8 p.m. May 19. Who will be this year’s Golden Fork award winner?
This year’s entries include Besta Wan; Bull Taco; Cappuccino in the Park; Cicciotti’s Trattoria Italiana; East Coast Pizza; Ki’s Restaurant; Las Olas; Rimel’s; Sambazon; Seaside Market; Starbucks Coffee; Subway; The Beach House; Trattoria Positano; VG Donuts; Wine Steals; Yogi’s Beach Bar & Grill; and Zenbu.
Tickets are $20 In advance and $30 the day of the event. Pre-purchase at the Cardiff 101 Main Street office, 124 Aberdeen Drive, call (760) 436-0431 or buy online at tasteofcardiff.com.
Music this year will be sponsored by Encinitas Councilwoman Teresa Barth. Many of the restaurants offer specials the night of the event to ticket holders and also give some sort of coupon to encourage them to return. At the end of the evening, attendees vote on their favorite restaurant to win the Golden Fork Award.
