Cardiff-by-the-sea celebrates 100 years

CARDIFF-BY-THE-SEA — Residents will be looking back on the last 100 years of the city during their special birthday celebration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 2.
The Cardiff 101 Main Street has been busy for months organizing the day that will start off with a parade at 10 a.m. followed by festivities at Glen Park, 2149 Orinda Drive.
Grand Marshal Marion Ross will be leading the procession from the Cardiff Post Office to Glen Park. The daylong festivities will include games, live music and delicious food.
Food and drinks will be served by Cappuccino in the Park, Rimel’s Rotisserie, Seaside Market, Bull Taco, East Coast Pizza and Sambazon. Also in attendance will be more than 55 local arts and crafts vendors. Kick off the long holiday weekend in Cardiff-by-the-Sea This birthday celebration is sponsored by being part of this landmark celebration sponsored by the Cardiff 101 Main Street, Cardiff Seaside Market, Cardiff Town Council, Barbara and Warren Cobb, Sullivan Solar Power, San Diego Medical Services and the 101 Artists Colony.

There will be an historical exhibit from the Friends of the Cardiff-by-the-Sea Library and the San Dieguito Heritage Museum.
