SAN DIEGO — Volunteer San Diego will be sending teams of community volunteers to affected homes in an effort to support the fire recovery process. They will be able to provide clearance, wood-chipping and fire-resistant landscaping services at no cost.
Seniors that are over the age of 65, survivors of the 2007 wildfires, and need assistance creating defensible space in their homes or properties that are not connected with recovery centers are encouraged to register.
For more information contact Seth Connolly, Fire Recovery Coordinator, at (858) 636-4124 or [email protected].
