Community Old - DO NOT USE - The Coast News

Ron Sanford, manager of Prudential California Realty’s Carlsbad branch, has congratulated Carl and Terri Lofthouse, above, with the Prudential float at the 2008 Rose Parade which they helped build. The Lofthouses were honored for tireless community service during 2008. During the month of November, the pair organized the second annual “Clean out Your Garage Sale,” in Escondido, donating proceeds to cancer research and to the Escondido Humane Society. Also in November, the team donated food to Palomar College’s 22nd annual Thanksgiving Basket Food Drive. In December, the duo donated toys to Palomar College’s Police Department Toy Drive and helped with a Canned Tree Drive, along with other Carlsbad branch agents. Since the 1990s, the Lofthouses have donated their time and energy to Thanksgiving meals and Canned Tree Drives. Aside from their busy months at season’s end, the agents also affiliate themselves with Horses for Healing and Habitat for Humanity. Carl and Terri Lofthouse can be contacted through Prudential California Realty’s Carlsbad office at (760) 505-9631 or via e-mail at Courtesy photo
