Francis Parker School announced that several of its North County students have been recognized in the 2009 National Merit Scholarship Program. Carmel Valley resident Anne Condon, Carlsbad resident Andrew Buechler and Rancho Santa Fe residents Milia Fisher and Carrie Fjeldheim, were named Commended Students for placing among the top 5 percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2009 competition by taking the 2007 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
