Beach Volleyball at Dog Beach

DEL MAR — The “Spread the Love … of Sport” beach volleyball tournament will hit the sand beginning at 8 a.m. April 26 at Dog Beach, 3006 Sandy Lane off Coast Highway 101, sponsored by Whole Sports.

Tournament check-in begins at 8 a.m. and the proceeds benefit Special Olympics and the Scholarship/Building Fund. To register for the event, visit HYPERLINK “”

The cost for the Doubles Youth volleyball tournament Girls Divisions 14 to 18 is

$75 per team.

The Adult Coed 4s volleyball tournament accepts any skill level and any combination of family, friends, or children, with no more than two adult men per team.

The registration cost is $160 per team or $40 per player

A beach volleyball Skills Clinic is open to all ages from 10 to 11:30 a.m. for $40 per session.

The Special Olympics exhibition game begins at noon with Special Olympics Ambassadors.

Whole Sports has awarded scholarship funds to young athletes who might not otherwise be able to play. Whole Sports focuses on the “Whole Athlete” by providing high-level training, sports nutrition, and community outreach for all of its players.
