Auto service blends tech wizardry with old school customer care

OCEANSIDE — At face value, auto care service centers all seem to look alike. But consumers know there is a wide spectrum of differences “under those proverbial hoods” with experience, honesty and integrity being at the forefront.
If reputation is the best measuring stick, than Lael’s International Auto Service in Oceanside is at the top of the list with state-of-the-art expertise and stand-alone customer service.
Shop owner Lael Leone understands that auto care has never been more important than in today’s economic environment. “In my 17 plus years of dealership and independent shop experience, I haven’t met a customer yet who takes car problems lightly,” he said. “Cost is always a concern and time in the shop means the customer is hassled to find other means of getting where they need to be.
“Today, it’s even more important and it’s my job to find and correct problems ASAP for the least amount of money.”
Lael, an ASE Recertified Master Technician, explains that experience and training are key factors in controlling cost. He points out that less experienced and undertrained technicians often employ a guessing game resulting in unnecessary charges for unneeded parts and services that drive up the cost and waste time.
“All our service techs are specially trained with two goals in mind: fix the problem right the first time and be mindful of only recommending preventative services that will save customers money.”
Although Lael’s International Auto Service has a respected reputation built on precision and high-performance brands like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volvo, and Audi, the shop welcomes all European, Asian, and American makes and models.
“Our experience is wide ranging and we are equipped with the same training, tools and technology as factory dealerships to handle literally any service need for any type of car or truck,” Lael said.
Regardless of the vehicle and the extent of the service issue, Lael points out that customer care is job one. “Every action we take revolves around making sure our customers are more than satisfied and that their service needs have been fully met. Every single assignment has to be done right and delivered on time, from a $49.95 Honda Civic tune-up special to a $391 Mercedes-Benz Schedule B service.” He said every single job is equally important and the high volume of repeat business is confirmation.
Lael’s International Auto Service is I-5 freeway close at 2042 Oceanside Blvd. in Oceanside; one block east of Crouch.
