RANCHO SANTA FE — San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department’s 4S Ranch Substation are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate the suspects wanted in connection with two school burglaries in Rancho Santa Fe. Detectives said the first school burglary occurred sometime between July 1 and July 5, 2013 at the Rancho Diegueno Country School, at 15663 Circo Diegueno Rd. in Rancho Santa Fe. An unknown suspect entered the elementary school’s computer lab through a broken window and stole seven Apple I‐Mac computers. The total loss is estimated at $9,100. Two of the computers were older models but the other five had been purchased earlier this year.
The second school burglary happened July 11, at about 4 a.m.
Deputies responded to a burglar alarm at the Solana Santa Fe Elementary School, located at 6570 El Apajo in Rancho Santa Fe. When deputies arrived they saw a broken window in one of the buildings. A school representative arrived at the scene and told deputies that six Apple I‐Mac computers and an Apple projector unit had been stolen. The loss is estimated to be more than $9,000.
Detectives have not identified a suspect in either of these cases.
