Creative dust raised at RBVHS festival
VISTA — More than 200 Rancho Buena Vista High School art students turned a prominent walkway of the campus into a huge art gallery in May with a Dust off your Creativity Chalk Day and Art Festival.
Ending up covered from head to toe in colored dust, three- and four-person teams of art students threw themselves into the process of bringing art to life through two- and three-dimension, 8-foot-by-8-foot chalk drawings relating to the theme of “Music and Film.”
The youngsters also had additional work on display during the Art Festival and open house.
The community was invited to stroll through the students’ creations from early morning until sunset.
