Local students join U.N. for a weekend

CARLSBAD — Nearly 450 high school students from all over the world assembled at the University of Washington campus April 17 and April 18 for an intensive conference simulating United Nation committees and debate. Among them were 14 students from Carlsbad-based Pacific Ridge School.
