GOP women host conservative speaker Star Parker

RANCHO SANTA FE — Star Parker, political conservative and activist, will be speaking at the Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club at 7 p.m. March 18, for the Rancho Santa Fe Republican Women March Madness, to begin at 6 p.m. with no-host cocktails. Parker will speak on the subject of “Our Country in Perils.” Parker is best known for her personal transformation from welfare fraud to conservative crusader.
Parker is the founder and president of CURE, the Coalition on Urban Renewal & Education, a nonprofit think tank that focuses on issues of race and poverty in the media, inner city neighborhoods and public policy. Parker is also a syndicated columnist for Scripps Howard News Service and a regular commentator on C-Span, and FOX News. She has authored three books, “Pimps, Whores and Welfare Brats,” Uncle Sam’s Plantation,” and “White Ghetto.”
