Vote Dave Roberts for Supervisor

By now most San Diego county voters will have received their November absentee ballots in the mail.

If you are like me, there are some things I am absolutely sure of, and others I know little or nothing about.

That’s why a lot of us, including me, rely on endorsements of candidates or propositions. These endorsements come from sources we know and trust.

I really believe Dave Roberts is the best candidate for San Diego County Supervisor, Third District.

I have met with him many times and examined his background in great detail.

He is currently Deputy Mayor of Solana Beach. He has served on advisory boards for both President George W. Bush and Barack Obama and military advisory boards and has had a successful business career.

The list goes on and on.

Not only is Roberts extremely qualified for the job, but he has often demonstrated his willingness to go the extra mile.

Of no small note is the fact that he has five adopted children.

On the subject of endorsements, of which he has many, there is one more telling than most. The fact that Pam Slater-Price, the out going supervisor, crossed party lines to add her voice in support of Dave Roberts speaks volumes.

Here are some of her own words:

“After careful consideration — weighing the backgrounds, the documented track records of the candidates and looking closely at the personal qualities of the candidates – I am supporting Dave Roberts… I am endorsing Dave Roberts because of trust. I trust him to do what he says he will do.”

Well, there you go.

I’m voting for Dave Roberts and I am asking you to do the same.

City for Sale October 6, 2012 at 8:25 am

Because I DON’T want for Encinitas to be for sale, I will vote against Steve Danon and vote FOR Dave Roberts.

We need a mature, inclusive, skilled listener to represent the wide views of North County residents. We do not need another person to represent the building industry. They already have Bill Horn.

Vote for Dave Roberts and vote for San Diego residents–not special interests!
