CARLSBAD — Not a runner, but think you might like to be an important part of the upcoming Carlsbad Triathlon July 11 and July 12? Volunteers are being accepted up until July 3.
The Carlsbad Recreation Department is looking for volunteers to help with the Health & Fitness Expo and Triathlon Pick-up July 11, with various shifts from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 12, more opportunities are available including the bike & run course, water stations, timing crew, hospitality and more. Shifts are available from 6:30 a.m. to noon.
Enjoy a light dinner at the mandatory volunteer orientation from 6 to 7:30 p.m. July 7, at the Carlsbad Senior Center, 799 Pine Ave. where volunteers will review assignments and receive instructions.
