Folklorico dancers are just one of the colorful activities set for the city of San Marcos’ seventh annual Carnival of Cultures from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 8 at the San Marcos Civic Center, 1 Civic Center Drive. This free outdoor event will feature an international carnival with representatives from different cultures, celebrating the multi-ethnic diversity of San Marcos and neighboring communities with international entertainment, food, and arts and crafts. There will be plenty of free hands-on activities. The San Marcos Community Center is located within walking distance of the Sprinter station.
