SAN MARCOS — The city of San Marcos’ Family Enrichment Program will be making oatmeal cookies at 7 p.m. Feb. 5 at the San Marcos Community Center, 3 Civic Center Drive. This event is just $3 per person plus a yearly membership fee of $12 per family. Bring a mixing bowl and a spoon. The deadline to register is Feb. 3.
Families may also create Valentine’s Day boxes at 7 p.m. Feb. 9 at the San Marcos Community Center. Create a special box for that special someone using paint, glitter and stickers. Cost for this event is $3 per person plus a yearly membership fee of $12 per family. Deadline to register is Feb. 6.
On Feb. 19, the Family Enrichment program will gather at the San Marcos Community Center to celebrate Mardi Gras by making colorful masks using paint and feathers. Cost for this event is $3 per person plus a yearly membership fee of $12 per family. Deadline to register is Feb. 17.
The FEP brings families together through arts, crafts, cooking and special events and is is sponsored by the San Marcos Community Services. For more information, contact San Marcos Community Services at (760) 744-9000.
