RANCHO SANTA FE — William (Will) Haifley has been named the new general manager of the Fairbanks Ranch Association, replacing longtime general manager Dave Abrams.
Haifley is a certified community association manager with certifications through the California Association of Community Managers and the Community Associations Institute. He has 15 years of experience in community association management including homeowners associations as well as condominiums.
Prior to entering community association management, Haifley spent 25 years in the financial and accounting field. He has served as the head of accounting , portfolio manager, regional manager and on-site larger-scale property manager for waterfront projects and upscale senior communities with golf courses, restaurants and full amenities.
Haifley has won statewide industry awards for his community association leadership and is experienced in working with boards of directors to provide guidance in operation, maintenance governance, policy and procedures development, reserve analysis as well as financial and investment analysis. He has also worked extensively with organizational management as well as nonprofit and fund accounting. He spent eight years as vice president and business manager for the California State University Long Beach Foundation.
Haifley received his bachelor’s degree from Mount St. Mary’s college plus a bachelor of science degree from Cal State Long Beach in business administration and accounting.
