Academy raffles off BMW to raise school support

CARMEL VALLEY — The Canyon Crest Academy Foundation will offer up some cool wheels for this year’s fundraising effort to support the school’s academic, arts and athletics programs.
Tickets are already on sale for a new BMW 328i or $25,000 cash and the raffle is open to the community. The foundation’s Vice President Fundraising Eileen Silverman noted that there are 60 additional prizes and tickets are $40 each. Entry forms, complete rules, regulations and prizes are available at www.BMWravenraffle.com
Silverman noted that Canyon Crest Academy increasingly relies on donations to bridge the gap between state funding and the school’s actual financial needs.
“We understand the challenges of today’s economic climate, but we also need to stress how critical it is for families to support the educational programs that their students benefit from every day. Many Canyon Crest Academy’s notable academic arts and athletic programs would not be possible without donations from CCA families and the community,” she said.
