ENCINITAS — Amateur and professional female skateboarders filled the Encinitas Community Park on Saturday for the third annual EXPOSURE women’s skate benefit.

More than 90 skaters from around the world were slated to attend, compete and put on demonstrations. The event has the goal of helping create more opportunities for girls and women in skateboarding and to raise funds for the Community Resource Center’s Carol’s House, a North County domestic violence emergency shelter.
