The Project would place an initial 340,000 cubic yards of compatible sediment on the beach. Over the 50-year Project life, re-nourishment would occur every 5 years in the amount of 220,000 cubic yards. ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: The Preferred Project is subject to both the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
