Fair lines up live concerts

DEL MAR — The 2013 San Diego County Fair’s Toyota Summer Concert Series has completed its 24-night line-up of entertainment by adding two final acts: Sail Rock 2013 starring Christopher Cross, Orleans, Firefall, and Player on June 12, and Colbie Caillat on June 21.Sail Rock 2013 is a gathering of top pop bands and artists of the 1970s and 1980s, including five-time Grammy winning artist Cross. Cross’ hits, including: “Ride Like The Wind,” “Sailing,” and “Arthur’s Theme.” Orleans is known for “Dance With Me” and “Still the One.” Firefall topped the charts with “You Are the Woman” and “Just Remember I Love You.” Player scored with No. 1 smash, “Baby Come Back,” following with Top 10 hit “This Time I’m In It for Love.”

Colbie Caillat exploded onto the music scene with the hits “Bubbly,” and “Realize,” in 2007.

The shows are free with fair admission but reserved seats are also available, and start at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Some shows offer a dinner package in the Grandstand’s famed Turf Club. Tickets for paid shows, dinner packages and reserved seats are available now at the Del Mar Fairgrounds Durante Gate Box office Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., or through Ticketmaster at ticketmaster.com/venue/81980 or (800) 745-3000.
